Marine Plywood, used for boat and yacht interiors, is specially treated veneer core plywood that is
designed to resist moisture. It is lighter weight than moisture
resistant MDF which makes it ideal for marine applications. Our
high-quality veneer can be laminated to marine plywood to create a
product that is ideal for interior marine applications. Cabinetry and
furniture for yachts and houseboats are often manufactured from this
material. Moisture resistance is enhanced by the use of Type II glue
for laminating the veneer to the substrate.
Marine Plywood Applications
Marine Plywood from FormWood Industries, Inc. is manufactured for
interior applications only. The light weight veneer core allows for
easy construction of wall panels in a variety of marine craft.
Furniture and cabinetry will be beautiful for years to come due to the
moisture resistant element of the core and the use of Type II glue for
lamination. As with all of our plywood offerings, sequencing and
special matching are available. This includes center-balanced matched
for wall panels and end-matching for tables.
