FormSurface Paintable Backer
FormSurface Paintable Backer offers all the advantages of FormBack Stabilizing Backer while also being paintable or printable. FormSurface Paintable Backer is a man-made, resin-impregnated sheet that can be used on the back of panels faced with veneer or high-pressure laminates. FormSurface Paintable Backer is cost-effecive and provides an excellent balancing medium in both three-ply and five-ply panel construction. FormSurface’s added benefit of accepting paint or print helps you meet all of your color and decorating specifications.

Storage
- It is best to store FormSurface Paintable Backer in the same area as the core and faces so as to allow all of the products to reach equilibrium at the same relative humidity.
- FormSurface Paintable Backer should be stored in a climate controlled environment.
- FormSurface Paintable Backer should be used within 3-6 months so as to ensure the best results.

General Application Information for FormSurface Paintable Backer
- Can be used in both hot and cold press applications.
- Works best in applications using particleboard and medium-density fiberboard cores of greater than 5/8” thickness.
- Normal stacking procedures are recommended after the panels are pressed. Allow 24 hours before further processing.
- Should be used within 3-6 months so as to ensure the best results.
